The Mid Day Meal Scheme, initiated by the Government of India, plays a pivotal role in supporting underprivileged students from both rural and urban settings. This program addresses nutritional deficiencies by providing free lunches on school days to children enrolled in Primary and Upper Primary Classes across various educational institutions, including Government schools, Government Aided schools, Local Body STCs, Madrasas, and Maqtabs, in alignment with the Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA).

The MDM attendance application is designed to systematically track the attendance of students who benefit from the Mid Day Meal Scheme, ensuring effective implementation and monitoring of this essential initiative.
